Canoe Adventures

I never had a cottage growing up, but clearly canoeing is a must-do at "the cabin". This year the water is higher than usual due to the rainy summer we've had, so we could canoe way up the creek to an adjoining lake. Admittedly bringing a camera probably isn't the smartest thing to do, but that's the beauty of having a relatively inexpensive film camera - I'm not the end of the world if it gets wet.

Do you have a cottage? If so, what is your favorite thing to do while there? Linking up with Miscellany Monday & Monday Mingle

  1. I wish I had a cottage and to be honest we are considering living in one in the future, in BC. We heard about this quaint ( and eccentric) mountain town and are really considering moving there; so much outdoors stuff to do, and I happen to love walking for hours in nature. These photos are gorgeous btw.

  2. Such great pictures looks like so much fun! Just started following your blog and love it maybe you would like to check us out and follow back?

  3. So lovely! I haven't been on a canoe since I was a little girl but these are making me want to find one asap :) I love that you used a specific camera so you can capture moments in places where you normally wouldn't with an expensive one. One of the reasons why old things are my favorite!

    1. I'd probably still be sad if it got dropped though, haha. I just wouldn't be out much money.

  4. Great photos! Such great captures! I get so frustrated in situations that I can't document them because of fear of dropping my phone/camera and it getting ruined.
