Alright, well by now most of you already know that I'm a teensy bit obsessed with Harry Potter (I have an HP tattoo. Bonus marks if you can figure out where it is. And don't be gross.) and this is one of my many shirts. This one I do actually wear outside the house - the others are admittedly more pajama material. The quote on the front says "let us slip out into the night and persue that flighty temptress, adventure".
Top: Screened // Skirt: Forever 21 // belt & bag: Garage // Shoes: Thrifted
bracelets: Forever 21 // Ring: Aldo (old)
I have an entire board of Harry Potter related things, so feel free to check it out :) Are you a Harry Potter fan?
If so, what was your favorite book? Mine was always The Prisoner of Azkaban, but now I like reading & watching the first one the most. Linking up with

This outfit is adorable. I love the top and I love the touches of green! I'm a Harry Potter fan too! And my friend actually has a dog named Hufflepuff!
ReplyDeletethank you! haha that's adorable. I have a fluffy orange cat that I wanted to name crookshanks, but she already had a name and I felt bad changing it. Oh well!
DeleteGreat outfit! Totally curious about the tattoo! What did you get, and where. I wish I was better at guessing, if I had to i'd guess rib cage just below your breast bone, and a quote of some sort, or the lightening bolt!
ReplyDelete.:Marta:.
hey! Its the three little stars that appear on the corner of each page of the scholastic version of the books (the bloomsbury editions with the multi-coloured cover don't have them). Its on my collar bone on the right shoulder. I thought it was a nice subtle one that looks pretty even if you don't know what it means, and if somebody asks who I don't want to know its from HP, I can just not tell them :P I might add "until the very end" beside it one day, but for now I didn't want another quote.
DeleteSuch a cute outfit! Believe it or not, I JUST started reading the series. I read the first couple pages of the first book when I was younger and just decided right then and there I didn't like it and of course being the stubborn person that I am, couldn't let anyone persuade me to give it another try. But I've finally come around and changed my ways! haha I actually have only seen one of the movies as well so my Harry Potter loving friends find it pretty funny when I get so shocked with the events of the books. haha!
ReplyDeleteit's so much better to read the books first! haha. The movies are actually pretty good, usually I hate movies for books I really like. They did a good job on them though (a few differences, but they're live-able). Glad you changed your mind about them :)
DeleteI LOVE HP!!!! It's definitely a series that's cherished in my heart. It's also a series my husband loves too and we definitely have been known to watch a marathon too. hehe
ReplyDeleteAlso loved the Prisoner of Azkaban!

Maybe I shouldn't confess this, but I've never read or seen any of the Harry Potter series, though I do recognize the symbol on your shirt, so I'm not too culturally unaware, I guess... :P

I have quite the obsession with Harry Potter as well (along with a Harry Potter Pinterest board)!! I have been browsing HP related items on Etsy lately and kinda obsessed. Adding a bunch to "wants" for my birthday:) I love this shirt though!
ReplyDeleteCurious about your tat by the way. What is it of? And where? When I one day visit London, I am going to get a HP tattoo (even though my husband thinks it is the dumbest idea ever)!
My favorite book is by far the Prisoner of Azkaban. I still get chills when Harry realizes who Sirius really is. Makes my heart smile haha.
haha I might go stalk your pinterest then! My tattoo is the three little stars that appear on the corner of each page of the scholastic version of the books (the bloomsbury editions with the multi-coloured cover don't have them). Its on my collar bone on my right front shoulder, very small. Hard to spot :P Harry Potter is the series that got me into reading and basically represents my childhood, so I thought a tattoo was fitting :)
DeleteCute outfit! I love the pop of color with the belt.
ReplyDeletethis outfit is darling! you don't have to be a harry potter fan to love this ensemble. love the pop of color with the belt!

freaking adorable.
ReplyDeleteYou look so cute!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite book was the 4th. And I was truly depressed for the entire portion of Harry and Ron not speaking to each other.
And I'm so happy to live down the street from the Wizarding World of Harry Potter where the butter beer is always flowin'.. ;)
The fourth one was good, but stressed me out! haha I hated when they weren't talking. It wasn't nearly so bad in the movie (that movie is pretty bad in other ways though....they leave out the house-elves (SPEW! haha) and so much other stuff!). I'm so jealous of where you live, I've never been but I so, so badly want to go!!!
DeleteSPEW was my favourite. I hated how they didn't give Hermione her full character in the films. Hermione was kinda kick ass.
DeleteSimple and cute! I love the touches of green with this, and that's a great quote on the tank. :)
ReplyDeleteI love HP. I think the first one will always be my favorite because it's when the obsession started.
ReplyDeleteSo adorable! I love tees paired with skirts, always so cute! Thanks for sharing your look with Three-fer Thursday :)

Love, love, love!
ReplyDeleteI stumbled across your blog because your commented on a giveway elsewhere. I was having a flick through your posts, thinking 'seems cool, I love analogue - oh look, she's in CANADA too!' and then I saw this post and ... well... fell in love. Say hello to your new follower.
I absolutely adore this t-shirt. It's geekalicious without the overkill, plus you'd have had to have read HP to know what it refers to.

haha, Analog photography, Canada, and Harry Potter - I feel like that sums me up pretty well! To be honest though, I haven't been to a lot of the prairie provinces (which it appears you just drove through? so cool!). Are you living in Ottawa now?
DeleteI love that this top isn't overly geeky (okay, my bf disagrees, but its better than my 'harry is my homebody' shirt).
