Outfit Post: mustard and snowflakes

If you'd like to try something difficult, try taking photos of yourself with a tripod & self timer in the middle of a snowdtorm, with nothing to manually focus on. Sigh. Anyways, I loved this outfit too much not to post these, so sorry about the dodgy focus. You forgive me, right?

  2. Love love love this! Mustard is one of my favorite colors lately! What kind of camera did you use for these btw?!

  3. Thank you! I won't lie, I bought that hat solely based on the fact that it was the same colour as my pants. I like to match! haha. I've been reading you blog for a while now <3 I'm still perplexed as to how you got your 'about' picture to move. Magic!

  4. These were with my old Rebel XT....which I just traded for a Rebel T3i, so excited to try the new one out. With a better lens the rebel XT is totally fine, but I wanted video. Muahahaha.

  5. That's what I want! How did you "trade" it?! BTW you need to do dslr tutorials. Fo. Real.

  6. I went on Kijiji (kind of like craigslist) and saw somebody wanted to trade their new T3i for an older model + some cash, since they never used it and didn't need such a fancy camera. So I set it up with them & traded! And not going to lie, I leave it on 'portrait' mode for outfit shots. So easy to use these Rebels!

  10. Yeah I get sick of it pretty fast. If I didn't snowboard I probably would hate it completely, lol!

  11. Haha yeah,I don't like to do anything that involves me being in the cold and snow so winter is always a bust for me.

  12. I think the dodgy focus just makes these photos seem more magical and wintery. I love the touches of mustard mixed with the black and white. Gorgeous outfit for this time of year!

  17. Yellows and oranges are much easier to pull off when they have some brown to them - burnt oranges and mustardy yellows are much easier than neons! haha.Thank you so much :)
