A Film Photography and Fashion Blog

Guest Post: a 'Lorde' makeup look!

Today I have the lovely Stacia from The Homey Owl taking over the blog! She is an incredibly sweet and interesting person, and I just know you guys will love her! Please leave her some love and check out her blog - she deserves it!

Hello This Analog Adventure readers! My name is Stacia and I blog over at The Homey Owl. I'm so thankful Jess is letting me have a small spot on her beautiful space today! I love seeing the beautiful photos and great fashion inspiration she posts, and am totally jealous of the snow she is getting! (I live in flippant Tennessee where we maybe get a tiny bit of snow in January and the rest of winter it's either freezing without snow or way too warm to be winter.)

One of the things I love to do, and challenge myself to do through my blog, is to try new things and get out of my comfort zone. Recently I've been trying to mix up my normal wardrobe routine and play around with new combinations or styles. I'm not sure if we've all gotten over our Lorde Royals obsession or not, but when I watched the music video for the first time I was instantly captivated by her interesting eye makeup. After looking it up and finding pictures like this one, I decided that I wanted to try it. I don't have a tutorial, but if you have a small makeup brush and a little bit of patience, I think it's achievable. Especially since it doesn't require a ton of tricky blending!

I'm not sure where I could wear this look consistently. Maybe a date night or to a concert. I had fun playing around with it, though!
