Travel Diary: Gananoque

Last week the family and I made the short drive up to Gananoque, a small town close to Kingston that I had never been to before. It is right on the edge of the Thousand Islands, so we took a boat cruise all around the islands on our last day there to see all the little cottages and Islands. Some of the islands were home to just a single cottage, built pretty much into the island as though it was part of it. Other islands were pretty big, and were parcelled off into many different cottages. I took about a thousand photos (not even much of an exaggeration!) so I've divided this up into two parts! Behold, ladies and gentlemen....part 1.

  1. What a beautiful place! I'd love to have my very own little island out there. Just for weekends though, I think lol. Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to part 2!
