2014 in Review - my yearlong project!

Well, folks, another year has come and passed and so much has happened! This year has been absolutely wonderful - I got to travel quite a bit this year, School has been amazing, and I am so fortunate to have friends and family by my side. I have spent this year doing another 1-second-a-day video, and it has finally come to an end! I love these, I think its an amazing way to document your life, and I've gotten a few people into it as well (my sister and one of her friends did their own this year!). I know I'm a little late on the 2014 year in review posts, but since mine was a video, I kind of had to wait until the year was over to add in my final clips. If you'd like to see my video from 2012, you can view it here.

For those of you who may not know me, and be mildly confused by my life (probably happens even if you do know me, haha), here's a little background info. I'm a Nursing student living in Ottawa, Ontario. I often hang out at my parent's place, who own about a million dogs and horses, but the fluffy orange cat is mine. This year I traveled to Vancouver for a nursing conference, and Florida with my family because...Harry Potter land.

Thanks so much to everyone who was part of my life, my blog, or even who took the time to leave a kind word or two in a comment. It means so much to me, and I am forever grateful that I have so much support in my life. I hope everyone had a lovely year, and I can't wait to see what happens in 2015!

  1. I have been wanting to do one these! I started one last year then deleted one of my videos for a day so I quit. I am going to start over again today! Question: do you use your phone a lot or do you use a DSLR?

Great video! Looks like you had a great year:)

    Cheers to 2015

  2. Wow, what an incredible project and an incredible year! The best of 2015 for you, I hope it's just as good.

  3. I used a mix of both, but honestly the best camera is the one you have with you....so I used my iPhone I'd say 75% of the time, and the other times I used my DSLR.

  4. I loved the one you did last year and started my own, I lasted for a month, it's hard to remember!! Would be cool to try to get more snaps this year though, videos are so nice to have rather than just pictures all the time.

  5. I remember thinking this is the coolest project when you talked about doing this in 2014! I loved the video. I'd love to do something like this, but I think I'd have such a hard time remembering to take a video that I'd need to start small. Like a month or something and then try two months. :)

I would love to hear what you think! Comments make my day and I try my best to reply to every single one via email response :)
