I've wanted to do one of these posts for ages, but I have a pretty horrible memory when it comes to this sort of thing, and I kept forgetting. If you've never seen one of these before, its pretty much how it sounds - I took a photo every hour for the whole day in an attempt to document what a regular Saturday for me would look like. I may do one of these a season or something, I'm not sure, but it was fun to do!
Walking the dog. We stole one of my parents dogs for the weekend to see how she would be living in the city, as she's getting a bit older and we were thinking of keeping her as more of a house-dog...she seemed to miss her pals back home though, so I don't think that will be happening!
Breakfast...and Coffee. Doing some last-minute research on the mine we're planning to visit today, as it apparently isn't easily found.
Getting ready for the day. I generally wear makeup every day, and putting it on is a routine I quite enjoy.
Gathering up my camera gear for the day. Today I'm bringing my trusty carena cx-300 and kodak 200 film, because it looks pretty sunny outside! Also bringing a headlamp, not sure how dark it is in the mine.
Studying while waiting for the boyfriend to finish up a bit of work.
En Route, making the hour(ish) drive to Quebec. If you don't know much about Canadian geography, its the province next to where we live. Its also where most of the outdoorsy things to do in Ottawa are located.
We made it! spent the next hour exploring the old abandoned quartz mine in Quebec with the dog. Its incredibly gigantic - I'll be sharing photos from our adventure soon, but I shot mostly on film so I need to have it developed first. Film Problems.
Tired dog sleeps in the back seat on the way home.
Dinner, and importing digital photos from the day to photoshop. Sneaky peak!
Made a nest in bed to study for the next few hours. The cat is forever by my side as I study, every once in a while attempting to steal my attention and get chin scratches.
And in bed is pretty much where I stayed for the next two hours, watching youtube videos and catching up on instagrams. I go to bed embarrassingly early fairly often, because I like getting up quite early.
Anyways, hope you enjoyed a little glimpse into my life! If you've ever done a post like this, please leave me the link in the comments, because I love reading them!
